Our Sports Field Construction Services & Capabilities

A good-looking turf field begins with a strong, well-vetted design. Motz provides a full-service, in-house CAD department with the skill and experience to make your vision come to life. Our team of CAD professionals will fully map out all the necessary “below the surface” drawings to get your build underway, and set your field up for success. That includes base requirements, drainage planning, site allowances, site limitations, and more.

Build & Install
With decades of experience in the field industry, Motz will help you maximize your space with a custom-built, professional-grade field. We are committed to researching and implementing innovative technology behind the building and installation of each field.

Field Consultations
Our team of experts will evaluate your project site and execute a needs analysis to understand your goals, desired outcomes, and overall performance requirements. You can count on our Field Consultants to work with your team to meet your budgetary goals while providing insights and recommendations for ways to get the most value and return on your field investment. We also provide access to continued consulting to ensure you get the continued performance and support your field needs and deserves.

Remove & Replace
With synthetic turf field lifespans ranging anywhere from 8 to 12 years, it’s important to have a synthetic turf removal and replacement plan in place. The synthetic turf industry has likely evolved and changed since your original installation. Now you have new and innovative ways to customize your surface. The Motz team will help you develop a plan that best fits your needs, timeline, and budget when replacement becomes necessary.

Field Construction Management
With Motz’s field construction management services, our team steps in to manage projects of any scope or size, giving you a single point of contact for your project, less vendors to manage, and far less headache. We’ll customize our field construction management services specifically to your facility’s needs. From vendor vetting to logistics management to timeline coordination and more, let us take the worry off of your shoulders.

Base Remediation
Every strong building has a strong foundation. Your synthetic turf field is no different. If you are a synthetic turf field owner approaching a replacement, you are learning there are many things to consider as your planning process begins. One major component is the condition of your existing base. Motz can evaluate your field’s foundation and formulate a synthetic turf base remediation plan. In addition, we offer a patent-pending solution called ReFill. The process includes extracting infill from the old synthetic turf and incorporating it into the existing base to improve compaction and drainage for the replacement synthetic turf field. This option can not only save you money, but it’s also an environmentally-friendly and sustainable solution.

Weather Remediation
Things like unexpected flooding or damaging winds can severely impact the safety and playability of the field surface. While there is no way to prevent the impact or damage caused by unforeseeable weather conditions, you can count on the Motz team to help guide your facility through the process of getting your field back up and running. We are a dedicated partner who will provide an assessment and recommendation for proper remediation, along with additional services that help any weather-related synthetic turf damage.
