Our goal with this playing surface was to provide a championship-quality pitch that exceeds MLS standards and best practices for player safety, playability, and aesthetics. The combination of turfgrass technology and products that we’ve compiled here will allow us to do exactly that.

FC Cincinnati
After a tornado hit our community in July 2022, we had a lot of debris on our field (tree branches, leaves, insulation, pieces of 2x4, glass, screws, roofing nails etc...). Our district was concerned about the safety of our athletes once we had the ability to get back to our athletic facilities. After one phone call, Motz was on our field the next day. They helped by giving us a final cleaning which gave us the peace of mind that our field was safe for our athletes.
We install Envirofill in all putting green projects because we have found it to be high quality and a consistent product compared to using regular raw sand. Envirofill does not absorb bacteria and works to fight off mold and mildew due to the Microban antimicrobial technology.
The selection for our new surface was comprehensive and a very detailed one. It became very clear to us early on that The Motz Group would not only have the best product, but could meet all the demanding timelines, along with very reliable service and innovative ideas to enhance our vision!
