Our goal with this playing surface was to provide a championship-quality pitch that exceeds MLS standards and best practices for player safety, playability, and aesthetics. The combination of turfgrass technology and products that we’ve compiled here will allow us to do exactly that.
Bringing Motz on board, with their tremendous experience and being in our backyard, was a natural fit. We’re so pleased they are part of these truly generational projects we’ve undertaken.
We knew we needed another artificial turf field for all our athletes K-12. Motz was our first choice as they had proven themselves designing, building, and caring for our first turf field. They are outstanding partners to work with throughout the installation of our fields and their ongoing care of our facilities. Athletic space on our Shaker Heights campus is hard to come by, and Motz helped to design a second turf which is really a multipurpose field with a softball infield that maximized our ability to provide opportunities for interscholastic athletics as well as developmental athletics.
