The American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) announced FC Cincinnati TQL Stadium as the Single Field Facility of the Year. The Motz Group was recognized for construction excellence for their build of FCC’s home stadium field. They installed a hybrid turf system and natural grass maintenance tools (AirPAT) for the largest soccer-specific facility in Major League Soccer (MLS).

The ASBA is the national organization for builders and suppliers of materials for tennis courts, running tracks, fields, courts and recreational facilities annually recognize tennis, running tracks, and indoor facilities. ASBA acknowledged Motz for its innovative AirPAT system and ability to work with its partners and team to design and install a field for FC Cincinnati’s new home field. The state-of-the-art technology at Motz demonstrated its team’s innovative approach to field construction and project management through this project.

TQL is the first venue in Major League Soccer (MLS) to leverage the combination of The Motz Group’s game-changing turfgrass technology of AirPAT and Eclipse. Motz was part of the design, engineering, and installation of FCC’s new stadium field with a natural grass pitch located in a downtown urban environment in Cincinnati, Ohio.
